Heart of a Child Ministries gave the most positive and life affirming presentation of the pro-life message I’ve ever seen. There was no condemning or judging of people, only compassion and a desire for all people to be loved and supported as God wills. With joy and passion Nikki and the Bower family shared the reality of life starting at conception as well as the true value and dignity of ALL people. As a campus minister and theology teacher I highly recommend Heart of a Child Ministries.

I would’ve defined myself as pro-choice before because I didn’t think that abortion was bad. But I now feel like I am pro-life because I mainly feel that it is wrong to OFF a baby in the womb since it has already taken apart of life already.

We were very blessed to have Heart of a Child Ministries present to our students. Their age-appropriate presentations were a beautiful way to reinforce the fact that every child is made in God’s image and that Jesus took on our human nature and came as a tiny baby, just like us! The opportunity to see the live ultrasound was amazing and the children’s eagerness to see how a baby develops was beautiful. The testimonies were powerful and very thought-provoking. My prayer is that they will take to heart in a new way the fact that every child is created with a plan and purpose, even if they get into difficult situations in their own futures. As a recent mother of a little girl with Down syndrome, hearing Jeremy Bowers talk about the value of every life really resonated with me. The high percentages of babies who are aborted with Down syndrome around the world is absolutely heartbreaking, and I think it’s important for our older students to see this hard truth that the world has so unjustly accepted. Having the opportunity to see and interact with a baby who is yet to be born made the value of life in the womb much more tangible for kindergarteners through eighth graders. I believe this experience has shaped them in a way to begin changing this culture of selfishness and death to one of love and life.
